Spartan Spotlight Volume #15

 Quote of the Week:

Principal's Message:

Happy Friday!

It was great to have everyone back on campus this week! We still have two and half weeks to go until winter break and there are many exciting things happening around Spanger. I am especially proud of how much our community gives during this time of year. We have many programs that reflect the caring community culture is growing through our population.  Keep reading to learn more and how you and your family might get involved.

In partnership,

Mr. K

Spartan Shield Challenge

Staff members hand out Spartan Shields to students who exhibit our behavior expectations of being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible throughout campus. Starting Friday, December 2nd, we will hold a special Spartan Shield challenge for students! Hidden among the Spartan Shields given to students are Spartan Shields with a special stamp on the back (snowflake). If a student receives a Spartan Shield with a snowflake, they bring it to me right away and receive a candy cane!
Ask your child if they received a Spartan Shield and why, and if it had a snowflake to join in on the fun!

Help spread some holiday cheer this season...

(Thank you to those who have already donated a gift!)
Another way to get into the holiday spirit...

Students of all grades are invited to create a unique and original cover design for our 2022-2023 yearbook.  The winning design, selected by votes of the Spanger student body, will be featured on the front cover of the yearbook!

November 29th-December 9th= Spanger Toy Drive
December 2nd - December 21st = Spanger Shield Challenge
December 12th-16th = Penguin Patch
December 13th-15th = Candy Canes presale
