Spartan Spotlight Volume 16

 Quote of the Week:

When there's snow on the ground, I like to pretend I'm walking on clouds.
-Takayuki Ikkaku

Principal's Message:

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and healthy as we approach the holidays. Although the break is almost here, we are still working hard at school. Along with academics, this is the perfect time to teach our students to be helpful, grateful, generous, and kind.

Thank you to all the families who donated to our toy drive and have volunteered to help out at the Penguin Patch.

As always, please don't hesitate to contact me if you ever have any questions about what's happening around Spanger.

In partnership,

Mr. K

Don't miss out on this fun way to become involved at school...

Don't forget to send out a candy cane to someone special...

Be on the lookout for these Positive Postcards. Positive Postcards are written by teachers and sent to students through the mail to recognize that their positive behavior and attitude do not go unnoticed!

November 29th-December 9th= Spanger Toy Drive
December 2nd - December 21st = Spanger Shield Challenge
December 12th-16th = Penguin Patch
December 13th-15th = Candy Canes presale
December 20th = 3rd Grade Winter Program (6:00-7:00)
December 22nd - January 6th = Winter Break

Please remember the following parking lot suggestions to ensure the safety of everyone:

1) Please pull all the way forward to allow for the maximum amount of cars to pick up/drop off at any one time. Have students exit on the curbside only. Please do not exit the vehicle during drop off or pick up.

2) When dropping off in the morning, please make sure your child already has his/her backpack and belongings. Drivers stopping, getting out of the car, opening the trunk or doors, helping their child to the curb, and waving goodbye really slows down the drop-off lane.
