Quote of the Week:
"It isn't what you have in your pocket that makes you thankful, but what you have in your heart."
The first trimester of the 2022-2023 year has gone by quickly, and this last week has been an exciting time: parents have met with their children’s teachers during parent conferences; our school has completed our first trimester and is well into our second, and we are preparing for our Fall break. As we reflect on the many things for which we are thankful, I want to take this opportunity to share just a few of them with you: We are thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn – they give us all a daily reminder of what is important and why we are here. We are thankful for the support of the parents in creating an outstanding partnership for our students. We are thankful for the teachers, assistants, health aides, bus drivers, secretaries, nurses, lunchroom aides, support staff, therapists, and administrators who truly care about student achievement and have the best interests of our students at heart. I am also thankful that Spanger continues to strive for excellence in each classroom and to cultivate an open and positive school climate. For this, we are ever so thankful.
On behalf of the Spanger staff, I would like to thank you for your continued support and wish you all a safe and happy holiday. We will see everyone back on November 28th. In partnership, Mr. K
