Principal's Message:

Happy Friday! 

What a beautiful week at Spanger! The rain was a welcomed sight and the days were very pleasant. It's starting to feel like autumn (my favorite season). Some of the highlights of the week were: We got our projector up and running in the multipurpose room which is the first step for many fun activities (movie night anyone?). We selected our Student Leadership Team. This consists of 4th and 5th graders who have some great ideas to make Spanger even better than it already is. And, as always, celebrated those who were Safe, Responsible, and Respectful with a our Shield Drawing.  

Be sure to keep reading about some of the other fun event we have planned for Spanger!

We are asking for your help!

We need everyone to take a moment to review our Traffic Safety Expectations:

• Drivers must remain in their vehicle at all times when in the drop off and pick up loop (TK - 5th Grade Families) 
• Please pull forward in the loop to assist with street traffic
• Plan for congestion. This will help everyone slow down and keep our kids safe.
• If you want to walk your child to the gate, park in the lot or on the street
• Watch your speed in and around the school.  Many of our kids walk to and from school
• Keep your cool. We are all one Spanger Family. Please have patience and understanding. 

We appreciate your support with following these expectations.

Our kids, families, and staff safety depend on everyone playing their part.

Spirit Wear 

  

Fridays are spirit wear so remember to pull out all your Spanger swag and Merchandise on Fridays! If you don't have spirit wear, blue and orange will do. For those of you who have ordered the newest spirit wear line, orders should be here in a few weeks.
