Quote of the Week:
"Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending!"
Principal's Message:
Happy Friday!
It is hard to believe there are only 25 instructional days left of school! With that said, we still have a lot going on at school. This week our 3rd graders went to the Bernhardt Museum and our 2nd graders went to the Woodcreek Nature Center.
Starting Monday, May 1st, we will begin CAASPP testing for our 3rd-5th grade students. Our 5th graders completed the science portion of the test this week. The first week of testing (5/1-5/4) will be on English/Language Arts. The second week of testing (5/8-5/11) will be on math.
Additionally, we would welcome your feedback as to what's going well at Spanger and where there is room for improvement. Your child will have one elementary school experience. We want to make sure it is a great one! Please take a few moments to fill out the Family Survey below.
In partnership,
Mr. K
