Principal's Message:

Happy Friday!

Spring has certainly sprung and everyone is welcoming the beautiful days. We had our Wild Things assembly which was amazing this week (thank you PTC) and today was spring pictures so be on the lookout for those photographs soon. 

We are starting CAASPP Testing on April 24th and I wanted to remind parents of the following:

• Please allow for extra time in the morning to ensure students are here on time and ready to test. Missing test instructions and directions can negatively impact their session. 
• Please do your best to schedule absences around these very important dates (see our CAASPP schedule below).

Additionally, Spanger would love for our Third through Fifth Grade Spartans to be fueled and celebrated during state testing! If you would like to contribute please sign up here. You may drop off your donation at the office or with your student's teacher.  All items need to be individually wrapped.  Testing begins on April 24th for the fifth graders and May 1 for the third and fourth graders.  Your donations are greatly appreciated!

Our students were really excited on Wednesday for our first assembly since the pandemic shutdown! We brought back Wild Things, which incidentally has been entertaining Spanger students for over 20 years! This time they brought and gave a brief description of a great-horned owl, lemur, kangaroo, and crocodile.
